Children often have difficults visualising fraction concepts. However, this set helps to show that fractions are pieces that make up a whole. There are the equivalent of eight complete squares in fractions of 1/2, 1/3, 1/6 (2 combinations), 1/4 (3 combinations) plus one whole. The plastic storage box can be used as a work tray.
