Tech Card Power Vehicles Starter Kit builds three exciting vehicles that demonstrate different mechanisms and power options. Children will learn the need for careful building to ensure components are correctly aligned and to reduce friction. A simple circuit is assembled providing power to an electric motor that drives each vehicle.

The Off-Road Car uses a worm gear to generate extra power. The vehicle also has chunky foam tyres for extra grip and even has simple front suspension to help overcome obstacles. The Steerable Race Car has a high speed gear arrangement and a steering mechanism that allows the steering to be adjusted to race around cones. The Propeller Car has an on board foam propeller that pushes against the air and propels the car rapidly forwards.

This brilliant product combines all the design and structural features of Tech Card with the added bonus of being able to build models quickly without the need for gluing. New, repositionable plastic rivets can make building extremely fast and act as pivots. Tech Card PVSK also introduces many new components including tyres, steering, axle plugs, safety propellers and contact springs all to help extend the building possibilities. All our kits are Curriculum focused and contain teacher's notes. Tech Card is pre-cut and scored and is easily formed into accurate and strong three dimensional components. Once folded the Tech Card components are simple to fit together using the Tech Card rivets. The Tech Card beams, girders and bases are easily modified to create an infinite range of structural components. Adding dowel axles and card wheels creates a simple rolling chassis from a Tech Card base. Children will enjoy the focused practical elements of this construction task, gaining experience and an understanding of the way things work.
